I see you John Wall!
Bright Beginnings provides daily care for more than 150 homeless children in the nation’s capital, and that will care will continue thanks to Wizards star point guard John Wall.
Wall donated $400K to Bright Beginnings, which hopes to open a new child care center in 2017, and has raised more than $5.8 million for the project.
“This morning, Washington Wizards point guard, John Wall surprised our organization and BBI Executive Director, Dr. Betty Jo Gaines with a generous donation of $400,000. This phenomenal contribution will significantly impact the development of Bright Beginnings’ second child development center at 3418 4th Street SE in Ward 8.
Proudly displayed at the new BBI center will be the John Wall, Wall of Achievement, highlighting the everyday moments of greatness Bright Beginnings students accomplish. Bright Beginnings will also name a classroom in Mr. Wall’s honor.”
Wall seems like he’ll be a positive fixture in D.C. for years to come. I wonder what Colin Cowherd has to say this morning?
