The NBA season is set to begin, as are the Kevin Durant sweepstakes.
Durant is set be a free agent this summer and every team in the NBA has dreams of landing “Easy Money Sniper.”
The Wizards have a real chance, and will likely utilize star point guard John Wall to recruit and convince KD that home is where it’s at, per CSN.
“There’s going to be an opportunity to where you have an opportunity to throw a pitch at him and to try to get him to come back home,” said Wall of Durant, a Washington native, via CSN Mid-Atlantic. “But I know one thing of just knowing him, he’s really going to be very focused on taking care of Oklahoma City Thunder this season, and I’m going to be focused on taking care of the Washington Wizards. But when the time is right and he can get away from all that, yeah, we’ll probably have some conversation and throw a pitch.”
Durant will have many players recruiting him, including Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks, Kobe Bryant for the Lakers or Knicks, and Dwyane Wade down in Miami.
