This video here isn’t shocking to me at all.
I can actually remember a time in high school when a monster free safety lowered the boom on a running back, stood up, took his helmet off and threw at the same player he’d just lit up.
With that being said, some of these high schoolers are out of control today.
In this video taken from the game between Immaculata (N.J.) and Linden (N.J.) this past weekend, a Linden player rips the helmet off an opponent and then smacks him in the head with his own helmet.
I’m not sure if he meant to toss the helmet, or just got caught up in the madness.
He was only penalized on the play.
