Terrell Owens just can’t let it go, and if he hadn’t burned so many bridges, he probably wouldn’t have to.
Owens hasn’t played a regular season snap in the NFL since 2010, but the 41-year-old future Hall of Famer apparently wants one more shot, even if it would ruin his shot at getting in the Hall this year.
During this interview with NFL Network’s Rich Eisen on The Rich Eisen Show, Owens revealed he had his agent reach out to the Dallas Cowboys about a return to the team after superstar pass-catcher Dez Bryant broke his foot last week.
. @TerrellOwens has had his agent reach out to @DallasCowboys. I asked him why Jerry should give him a shot

Owens had 1,000 receiving yards in each season from 2006 to 2008 and caught 38 touchdown passes, but he also had a toxic relationship with Tony Romo and Jason Witten that ended badly.
"We all know what happened when I was there, and there were some things said where it may have fractured the relationship between myself and Witten and Romo. You know, time has passed, and hopefully they know that I’ve moved on beyond that, and maybe hopefully they have. But for me, it’s all about giving myself an opportunity. That’s all I ever really wanted."
Owens is one of the greatest receivers in NFL history, but this isn’t going to happen.
