This referee wasn’t on his job at all, but thankfully Willis Meehan didn’t want to seriously injure his opponent.
Meehan was absolutely destroying heavyweight Leamy Tato in a match at The Trusts Arena in New Zealand that shouldn’t even been made. Tato was out of his league in the beginning, and by the second round was getting crushed by everything Meehan was throwing.
Tato refused to go down and the referee refused to stop the fight until Meehan forcefully screamed at him.
