With 10 games remaining in the regular season, Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine said Wednesday that the team’s top four receivers are “entrenched” in the depth chart.
What does it say that Dwyane Bowe is not among a group of four composed of Travis Benjamin, Andrew Hawkins, Brian Hartline and Taylor Gabriel. If you add in special teams ace Marlon Moore, Bowe, a $9 million wide receiver, is a sixth-string on the depth chart.
Doesn't look good again for #Browns WR Dwayne Bowe. Pett said 4 WRs entrenched, special teams a factor, numbers game.

“We make that decision each week,” Pettine said. “We build a plan and see where we are from a depth standpoint. We talk about the minimum position requirements. The top four guys are entrenched.”
Bowe’s deal is cut up into three pieces, but it leads to the Browns being on the hook for all of his money if they cut him.
