The NFL uniform police have cracked down on Matthew Stafford for not conforming to the pink rule. The Detroit Lions star was fined $5, 787 for wearing all-blue cleats.

Stafford said he wore the same cleats throughout the preseason and in the Lions’ first three games. He also recalled that former Lions players Ndamukong Suh and Reggie Bush wore the same shoes each game last season.
Stafford plans to appeal the fine.
