This can’t be the type of leadership Jerry Jones was talking about, and I’ll put money on Greg Hardy’s tardiness being rapper-related. Either Jerry Jones really wants Hardy to succeed, or this relationship is heading towards one hugely combustible finish.
According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, Hardy was late last week and missed team meetings.
On FOX NFL Kickoff Sunday morning, I took the viewers through a crazy week with the Dallas Cowboys that included Bryant’s rant against the media. Sources said that day began with Greg Hardy arriving late for work and missing nearly all of the morning’s meetings. It’s unclear if Hardy was disciplined at all, though it’s obvious he didn’t lose out on any playing time on Sunday against the Buccaneers.
This can’t be about Hardy’s stats on the field, because production withstanding, the Cowboys have gone 0-5 since he returned from suspension.
