It’s good to see the Seahawks placing some accountability at the feet of their star quarterback, but what does it mean going forward? It appears the honeymoon is over and the kid gloves have been taken off in Seattle when it comes to Russell Wilson.
The quarterback, who has received nothing but praise in his first few seasons, is now under intense scrutiny from the media, fans and now his coaches.
During the Seahawks’ Sunday night loss to the Cardinals—where Wilson completed just 44 percent of his passes for 240 yards with a touchdown and an interception—he badly missed on a throw that should have changed the game.
Someone forgot to tell Russell Wilson:

The Seahawks coaches noticed as well.
“We had full progression, kind of across the board for that one,” said Seahawks offensive coordinator Darren Bevell. “We had a chance for (Tyler) Lockett, we had a chance for Doug, and basically Russell said he just missed it.”
According to Football Outsiders, Wilson ranks 18th in total QB value, behind the Texans Brian Hoyer, Buffalo’s Tyrod Taylor and the Chiefs Alex Smith. Tyrod is the only company I’d want to be in.
On the bright side, at least Russell Wilson isn’t getting the Aaron Rodgers-Olivia Munn treatment when it comes to Ciara.
