Since 2011, 50 Cent has talked about releasing an album called "Street King Immortal." The G-Unit rapper released an album back in 2014, but it was called "Animal Ambition." However, the 41-year-old revealed that he may be retiring from the game after he eventually finishes "Street King."
“I want to finish with that project. I don’t want to write another record after that. You know how some artists got to have confirmation that they’re right. I have that confirmation in fucking 35, 40 million [albums] that I already sold.”With how much success he has had producing and acting in the Starz hit drama "Power," 50 looks like he'll be well off after his rap career.
I don't know about you guys, but I guess you could say I'm a 50 Cent "stan." The first album I ever bought was "The Massacre" as an innocent 8-year-old in 2005. And that, my friends, is where my love for hip hop and 50 Cent began.
Based off his recent "The Kanan Tapes" mixtape he released earlier in the year, there is definitely promise for that album. Songs like "No Romeo, No Juliet," "I'm the Man," and "Tryna Fuck Me Over" are pretty solid tracks from this year by the rapper.
I really am looking forward to the release of this album, whenever that day comes. Hopefully soon.
