I could be wrong, but a gaffe this horrible was done on purpose. Philadelphia boxing legend and all-time great Joe Frazier would have been 73 years old tomorrow.
“Smokin’ Joe,” of course, died from liver cancer at the age of 67 back in 2011. Fox 29 in Philadelphia must have forgotten.
On "Good Day Philadelphia" Wednesday morning, they wished Frazier a happy birthday, even worse proclaiming that he’d be meeting with friends and supporters at City Hall this evening.
