LeBron James still doesn’t think he has a true rivalry in the NBA, even after all these years!
You ask, well what about Golden State? James isn’t claiming them either, even after losing to the Warriors in the 2015 NBA Finals, coming back from a 3-1 deficit against them in the 2016 Finals, and who could forget Halloween and those cookies?
Still, James insists that the Cavs’ meeting with the Warriors on Monday was not a part of a rivalry, because he’s truly never had one.
“I don’t think we have a rival in our game today. We’ve had two great Finals appearances the last two years, but I had the same with San Antonio when I was in Miami. We weren’t rivals. And I think I played those guys more, so I wouldn’t look at it as rivals.”
