Last released in 2013, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Royal" finally returns this Saturday, April 1. One of the most hyped releases from four years ago, many sneakerheads still feel the same about the new version of the shoe.
Compared to the 2013 version, this year's "Royal" 1s will feature better quality and materials, as well as the shoe's shape and look being more close to the 1985 original.
Here's what Nike had to say about the shoe:
its the silhouette that started it all. Bearing a Swoosh, Air Jordan Wings logo and eye-catching tones, the Air Jordan I set the tone for years of innovation through the Air Jordan signature line. Now over three decades since the design forever changed footwear, the debut Air Jordan now returns in the original royal and black colorway.
The "Royal" 1s will release at 10 a.m. EST at select online retailers. Retail price is $160, but it looks like everybody is going to try to cop these, so it'll be tough.
