Denver Broncos star pass-rusher DeMarcus Ware officially announced his retirement on Monday morning, posting this picture to Twitter:
Ware, 34, retires eighth all time in sacks, and is the Dallas Cowboys' all time sack leader. He is definitely a future Hall of Famer, especially for his role in the team's Super Bowl run in the 2015-16 NFL season.
Ware reportedly visited with the Los Angeles Rams earlier, but decided it was best to walk away from the game. Ware was reportedly in talks to retire after the team's Super Bowl win.
