The Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight rumors recently picked up steam after Money Mayweather announced he's coming out of retirement for the Irish UFC star. It looks like the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas has taken notice as well.
Several sources say the venue is reserving the date of June 10 for the possible mega-matchup:
Sources close to FloCombat have confirmed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas has put the June 10 date on hold for the mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.Will it happen? I have no idea, but I am starting to believe it more. I bet Mayweather would love to have an even 50-0 record, and it would be pretty easy for him since he's a much more experienced boxer than McGregor.
I say that because this is probably going to be strictly a boxing fight only. With that, I don't think McGregor stands a chance. The only reason he does this fight is because it would be the biggest payday of his life. Also, imagine the story if he somehow ended up winning?
Give me Mayweather, but I wouldn't mind Conor winning. It's a fight that definitely needs to happen.
