The 2017 NBA MVP race is coming to a close with the regular season having just about a month remaining. The four candidates are James Harden, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard, and who better to give their input than reigning two-timer Stephen Curry?
Curry's answer may surprise you a bit.
"You kind of have to reward the better team, I would think, record-wise. That’s just kind of going in the history of the MVP award. So, I think James will probably edge him out just off of that."
I'm not too shocked that Curry is picking The Beard. Based off factors of stats, record and value, I believe Harden will be the winner this season, though I would have no problem if Russ or LeBron were to win it.
Curry, if you remember, was in a close race with Harden when he won his first MVP. Many people believe that Harden should have won it, as evident when he won the players-version of the award after the season ended.
