There was a time when I thought Magic Johnson chalking up 12 or 13 triple-doubles in a season was ridiculous, but this is insane.
Russell Westbrook passed a legend after grabbing his 10th rebound when the Oklahoma City Thunder took on the visiting Utah Jazz at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
With 33 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds, two steals and a pair of blocks, Westbrook recorded his 32nd triple-double of the 2016-17 NBA regular season, moving him past the legendary Wilt Chamberlain for the second-most triple-doubles in a single campaign.

Westbrook now needs nine more triple-doubles over the final 16 games to tie Oscar Robertson’s record of 41 set back in 1961-62. The Big O averaged 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 11.4 assists that year.
Russell is also climbing the all-time triple doubles list as well.
