Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo is all about April Fools pranks, and recently got a chance to mess with several fans who sat down to catch a ride at a fake bus shelter.
It started when Giannis tweeted out his phone number:
The fake bus shelter looked real, complete with a large video poster featuring the Bucks star. But when commuters sat on the bench, the giant poster transitioned into a giant smartphone with Antetokounmpo on the incoming call screen.
Fans answered the call and were greeted by a live chat with Giannis himself. The Greak Freak talked a woman into doing push-ups and had a couple of guys bust out their dance moves.
Mountain Dew eventually turned the prank on Giannis, as the producers brought former NBA star Allen Iverson into the picture.
“I did not know that. I did not. It was actually a cool surprise, Allen Iverson calling you. It was a surprise,” Giannis said.
