It's been a journey, but the hard work has paid off for Levan Alston. Temple University men’s basketball guard Shizz Alston, Jr. and Obi Enechionyia were named first and second team All-Philadelphia Big 5 in a vote of the league coaches and select media.

Alston has also been named the Big 5’s Most Improved Player.
First TeamAlston, who lead the Owls in scoring (13.9 ppg.), assists (4.1 apg.) and steals (1.7 spg.) for a season, became only the second Temple sophomore to do so, joining Temple and Philadelphia Big 5 Hall of Famer Mark Macon with that accomplishment.
