Jeb Bush has reportedly backed out of the deal to buy the Miami Marlins with New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter. Apparently, the two had a dispute.

Initially the plan was for Jetes to run the baseball side of the operations and for Jeb to run the business side. However, CBS Miami reports that it became clear in recent talks that Jeter was looking to take on a bigger role, prompting Bush to quit the deal.Jeter definitely doesn't have $1.3 billion to own a team, so he's going to need some help. Let's see if he can find another group to get this deal going again.
The CBS Miami source says the split was amicable, and that Jetes and Jeb are still buds. The source also says that Jetes is still very much interested in buying a piece of the Marlins.
