They look comfortable on TV, so they’re either great professionals or not as bitter towards each other as some would think. One half of ESPN Radio’s "Mike & Mike" is disputing the notion that the dynamic duo is at odds as their longtime show is set to come to an end soon.
Mike Golic is disputing a report from Sports Illustrated‘s Richard Deitsch via ESPN staffers that the rift between he and his co-host was far worse than many thought, especially watching the two on air.
Golic told Eric Hansen of the South Bend Tribune that he and Greenberg are fine, and that the two have talked about their on-air situation.
“Greeny and I have talked. Greeny and I are fine,” he said. “In all honesty, I had more of a problem and was a little disappointed that people that work on my show would anonymously throw stuff out there. I’m not a big fan of the anonymous thing.
“If you can’t put your name to it, I don’t know why you’d say it. But Greeny and I are fine. We absolutely are.”
So it sounds like their was some strain, but all the attention brought on by the split caused the duo to squash whatever lingering beef they may have.
