The Nike KD 10 released just in time for Kevin Durant's run to the NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors. With Game 1 set to tip off on Thursday, Nike is releasing a special pair of the KD 10s for Durant's second ever Finals series.
The Nike KD 10 "Still KD" will be releasing online Thursday for $150 retail, but there's a catch on how to get them:
Consumers will be able to buy the white version of the KDX "Still KD" shoe -- which Durant will be wearing for the first time during Game 1 -- on Nike's SNKRS app as soon as the game tips off in Oakland at 9 p.m. ET. Sales will be halted when Durant is subbed out of the game, when a timeout is called and during halftime. It's definitely interesting, and something I don't think Nike has ever done before. It's pretty cool, actually.
Sales will also stop when the game ends or when the shoes sell out.
Those who miss out still have another chance at the shoe when they release to the general public on Friday. Those who are able to cop on that Thursday night are able to get a special pin set, though.
Would you cop these?
