Russell Westbrook will likely win the NBA’s Most Valuable Player after averaging 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game this season.
Add that to the fact that he became the first player to average a triple-double since Oscar Robertson in the 1961-62 season, and you can understand the hysteria.
Westbrook picked up another MVP vote, this time from Lil Wayne, who made it known after bringing him out on stage during a concert in Oklahoma City where he lead fans in an “M-V-P” chant.
