How the mighty have fallen isn’t even the word. This is a new NBA, and at times, Dwight Howard just doesn’t fit in it.
According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Atlanta Hawks are done with the Superman experiment, trading Howard to the Charlotte Hornets for Marco Belenelli and the No. 41 pick of the 2017 NBA Draft.
The Hawks will take in the remaining three years left on Miles Plumlee, $12.5 per year. Marco Belinelli ($6.6m) is in the last year (17-18).— Bobby Marks (@BobbyMarks42) June 21, 2017
