It looks like we will see Lonzo Ball fitted for the purple-and-gold on Thursday night, just like his father predicted.
The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to trade D’Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov to the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez and the 27th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Great job by the Nets picking up Russell, who still has a ton of potential with the few assets they had. The Lakers now clear the way to select Lonzo second overall in the draft and, more importantly, the cap space for Paul George (and maybe LeBron James) next summer.
