Oklahoma City officials need to say it with their chest or don’t say anything at all. In what seemed like a funny dig, the official page of the city of OKC used Durant’s NBA Finals heroics as a reason to promote their recycling program, while ripping KD in the process.
Hoping to prop up the city’s recycling program, OKC officials used the most recent issue of Sports Illustrated (now led by CEO Ross Levinsohn) with Durant gracing the cover. Durant, of course, announced he was leaving the Thunder last July to play for the Golden State Warriors.
