St. John’s gain is South Carolina’s loss as Sedee Keita, a 6-foot-9 big man from Philadelphia, will be transferring there.

Keita will sit out the next season and will be eligible for the 2018-19 season as a sophomore.
A four-star recruit in high school where he played at the 22ft Basketball Academy in Greenville, Keita was recruited by Temple, Providence and Penn State.
