Joel Embiid sends every tweet with his chest, so it's hilarious to see Kevin Durant stepping his game up to avoid the social media wrath of “The Process.”
The Warriors and Sixers had the Wells Fargo Center rocking on Saturday night, in large part to the home team taking a 74-52 lead over the defending NBA champions into the half.
After making some championship adjustments, the Warriors blistered out with a 47-point third quarter, outscoring the Sixers by 32 to erase the deficit and escape with a 124-116 win, improving to 12-4 on the season.
One big reason for the Warriors sense of urgency was secret tweeter KD wanting no parts of the likely Twitter “shit talking” that would have come from the Sixers all-world center.
Durant finished with 27 points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Embiid dropped 21 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in a losing cause.
