Oscar De La Hoya has all but guaranteed a rematch between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin, and it’ll happen on a major Mexican holiday weekend.
Nothing has been confirmed officially, Oscar tells TMZ Sports says that a rematch is “definitely” happening with the target date being May 5, 2018 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
“If people didn’t see the first one, you wait until the second one – it’s going to be huge,” De La Hoya said.Oscar made the comments at his 21st Annual Turkey Giveaway in L.A. on Saturday.
