Amid the trash talk lies a healthy respect and admiration from both parties that finally put to rest any ill-will between the 76ers star big man and the Ball Family.
After Philadelphia's home loss to the Lakers on Thursday night, Joel Embiid shared a few minutes with the entire Ball family, but saved the biggest show of love for the family patriarch, LaVar.
