The Cleveland Cavaliers got blown out by the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, allowing 148 points at home. On a positive note, LeBron James had 18 points and is seven shy of 30,000 for his career.
James was asked about the possibility of Tyronn Lue being fired as head coach after the loss to OKC.
“I would hope not, but really don’t know,” said James. “I don’t know what’s going to happen with our team. I have no idea what conversations have been going on. I’ve been trying to stay as laser-sharp as I can to keep my guys ready to go out and play.”The 148 points the Cavs allowed to the Thunder ties the franchise record for the worst defense in a regulation game.
“We got a lot of things going on,” said James. “It’s not 1. It’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. We got some searching to figure out how we can be better.”
