Bryan Colangelo is prepared to trust the process and his decision of making Markelle Fultz the number one overall pick in last year's NBA Draft.

The 76ers president doubled down on his confidence that Fultz will undoubtedly turn into a star, telling reporters during his end of the season presser that he has no regrets about drafting the former Washington Huskies star over Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.

At just 20 years of age, Tatum is a star in the making. The rookie scored 25 points in the elimination game against Philly, helping to lead the Celtics back to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Celtics originally had the No. 1 pick in the draft, but traded down with Philadelphia to get Tatum. Fultz recorded seven straight DNP’s to end the playoffs. He played a combined 23 minutes in three games during the postseason.

One of the biggest offseason questions surrounding the 76ers is whether Fultz will play in the summer league.
“It is something me and Coach haven’t discussed yet,” the rookie point guard said Thursday in a media availability during the team’s exit interviews.
Fultz said his biggest goal is to improve any way he can. If I’m the 76ers, he’ll spend all summer playing game after game after game.
