Are the Boston Celtics really taking the Eastern Conference Finals back to the 1980s? Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue believes so, planting a seed in the officials’ heads as well.
The Cavaliers are down 0-2, and Lue believes it’s because the Boston Celtics have been more physical.
“They’re gooning the game up,” Lue said of the Celtics after his team’s Game 2 loss, per Brian Robb of Boston Sports Journal.Boston came from behind to earn a 107-94 win in Game 2 on Tuesday, going up 2-0 in the series. The series heads back to Cleveland on Sunday.
