Becky Hammon is well on her way to becoming the first woman head coach in the NBA, and the San Antonio Spurs just made that realization a little clearer. Hammon has been promoted to the front of the bench.

Hammon is the NBA’s first female assistant coach. She interviewed for the Milwaukee Bucks vacancy back in May.
