LeBron James has been involved in two big NBA Free Agency periods, such as in 2010 when he joined the Miami Heat and in 2014 when he returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers. James will have another big decision in 2018, with many expecting him to leave the Cavs again.
James was linked to the Brooklyn Nets back in 2010 due to his affiliation with Jay Z, and it looks like those rumors are starting to come back up again. New York is a big market, of course, and many are linking James to the Knicks as well.
However, according to Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie, there's no chance.
Lmao I’m sorry to say this but to all the BK fans asking me/us to recruit Bron. He ain’t coming here lol I’m not even gonna sell y’all that dream.— Spencer Dinwiddie (@SDinwiddie_25) June 9, 2018
BUT
We got @_bigjayy_ future top 5 C in the league. Just be patient
Unless James can bring another superstar or two with him to Brooklyn, you can cross the Nets off his free agency list.
