Tony Carr is hoping to sneak into the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft, but the former Penn State guard is going to show out for whoever selects him, even if it’s in the second round.
With the Knicks needing talent and toughness later in the draft, one of the players whom the Knicks are giving serious consideration to selecting in the second round is none other than the former Roman Catholic and Nittany Lions star.
The interest must be equal, because Carr scored a workout with the Knicks a few days ago.

Carr has compelling size and NBA potential, as well as a skill set that could fit with the Knicks second unit.
Standing 6-foot-3 and 204 pounds with a 6-foot-8 wingspan, Carr has the size and grit to become a matchup nightmare who is capable of guarding 1-3 depending on the opponent. Carr can break a defender down in isolation, and get to the rim with craftiness that's well beyond his years.
