If Markelle Fultz does return as a new and improved player, then missing out on LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard will all be seen as a blimp in The Process. Fultz' broken jump shot has been the topic of conversation for almost a year now, but the nightmare is now reportedly almost over.

The first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft essentially forgot how to shoot, and after the season sought out the services of famed skills coach Drew Hanlen.
During an appearance on the Talking Schmidt Podcast last month, Hanlen described Fultz’s shooting woes as being a case of “the yips,” and that Fultz had “completely forgot how to shoot and had multiple hitches in his shot.”

“It’s not perfect yet, but I think by the end of the summer it will be perfect, he’ll be back rolling and he’ll show people why he was the No. 1 pick,” said Hanlen, according to Philly Voice’s Kyle Neubeck.
Fultz averaged 7.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 18.1 minutes per game last season.
