The Dallas Mavericks on Monday locked up Villanova’s Jalen Brunson by signing him to a rookie contract. The team announced the signing in a statement. Brunson, the Mavs’ 33rd overall pick last month, is getting a four-year deal, with the first year being similar to a first-round salary.
