Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals is underway as the Toronto Raptors take on the Golden State Warriors. Toronto is up 3-2 on the Dubs, and can close out the series Thursday night when the game tips off at 9 p.m. EST.
Toronto had a commanding 3-1 lead heading into Game 5. However, many thought the Warriors could have a chance to exorcise their 3-1 demons with Kevin Durant returning. Unfortunately, he ended up tearing his Achilles early in the game.
Fans who used their sugarhouse promo code to bet on the Raptors to win Game 5 must be unhappy with how the game turned out. Toronto trailed majority of the game, but came out to a 103-97 late in the fourth quarter.
The Warriors, thanks to Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, made three straight 3-pointers to come out on top at 106-105, forcing a Game 6 at home in what will be the final game at Oracle Arena. For this game, many fans are gonna wonder what team to utilize casino online blik on.
The Raptors, especially when KD is out, has clearly been the better and more complete team. However, you can't rule out anything with this Warriors team regardless. Curry is averaging 27.3 points per game on 47.2% shooting, while Klay is shooting a whopping 60% from 3.
However, I am still rolling with Toronto to close this out. Led by Kawhi Leonard, who is averaging 26.6 points per game on nearly 50% shooting from the field, there is no reason for the Raptors to blow this 3-1 lead (unless, you know, they were facing LeBron James last year).
Toronto could still be safe if they lose this game, since Game 7 will be back in Toronto. However, we saw what happened when the Cleveland Cavaliers did the same thing in 2016, and they won on the road in Oracle for Game 7.
The Raptors must do all they can to avoid that. According to CBS Sports, "Golden State is a 2.5-point favorite and the over-under for total points scored is 211.5 in the latest Warriors vs. Raptors odds."
At this point, this series looks like it will go two ways: Raptors in 6 or Warriors in 7. We'll have to see what happens tonight. The game will broadcast on ABC and ESPN, as well as streaming on the WatchESPN app on your phone, tablet, or smart TV.
Cord cutters can look to the good folks over at Reddit for some good streams. Try to check back here before the game, we can try getting some links up for you guys soon.
Will the Raptors claim their first NBA championship in their team history tonight and win for Canada, or will the Warriors keep the series and their chance of three-peating alive?
