According to the New York Times, the 44th president tried to make an analogy of the difference between himself and Romney; saying that he is the Miami Heat while Romney is like former New York Knicks and current Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin.
No matter what moves Mr. Romney made, the president said, he and his team were going to cut him off and block him at every turn. “We’re the Miami Heat, and he’s Jeremy Lin,” Mr. Obama said, according to the aide.
What an analogy, but I can see the point Obama is trying to make.
